ALLO TRAVEL - Terms and Conditions

 

INTRODUCTION


ALLO Travel specialises in creating a wide range of holidays and short breaks to destinations across Eastern and Central Europe – including Croatia, Hungary, Slovenia, Poland and Ukraine. With personal knowledge and experience of all the selected locations we tailor make long or short holiday breaks to match customers’ requirements, budgets and expectations. Our approach is completely individualised. Having spent time in each country, our staff has got to know the people, speaks the languages and has personally checked the standards of hotels and services.
As a member of TTA – Travel Trust Association (U4920) ALLO Travel provides a total financial protection to the clients.

BOOKING AND CONFIRMATION


All bookings made with ALLO Travel Ltd are subjects to these conditions. We require a completed signed booking form, accompanied by the appropriate deposit before we can proceed. A deposit of GBP 100 per person plus the agency fee of GBP 25 per person as well as insurance premiums if applicable, but we retain the right to vary this as we see appropriate.

PAYMENT


We reserve the right to adjust prices and times given or quoted should circumstances make necessary. Prior notice will be given in most circumstances. The price of your holiday is subject to surcharges on the following items: currency, aircraft fuel, airport charges, government action and increases in scheduled airfares. Only amount in excess of 2% will be surcharged.

CHANGES MADE BY YOU


Should you decide to change any item on the booking form on the booking form – other than increasing the number of persons, after the deposit has been paid and our written confirmation issued, we will do our best to accommodate you. There will be an administration fee of 25 GBP per booking plus any additional costs that are needed to accomplish the amendment. If changes are required, then you must notify us in writing. You should be aware that these costs could increase the closer to the departure date that changes are made.

CHANGES MADE BY US


ALLO Travel Ltd reserves the right to make minor changes to the brochure details and holiday arrangements both before and after you have booked your holiday. In such cases we will inform you as soon as possible. If we have to make major changes (e.g. change of airport, hotel, date of departure or an offer to move to a lower standard of accommodation, aircraft type or destination) we will advise you as soon as possible. In such cases you may cancel your booking and obtain a full refund of all the monies paid by you to ALLO Travel. In case of a significant change, we will pay you compensation in accordance with and limited to the scale below.
More than 56 days before departure – none; between 56 and 42 days – 10GBP; between 41 and 28 days – 15GBP; between 27 and 14 days – 30GBP; less than 14 days – 50GBP.

IF YOU CANCEL YOUR HOLIDAY


If you cancel your holiday after we send you a written confirmation invoice or if you fail to pay the full cost of the holiday within the specified time, you will be liable to pay cancellation charge. These are calculated according to the date when we receive written notification of cancellation by the person who signed the booking form or the date upon which your cancellation is treated as occurring, because of your non-payment. Cancellation charges are calculated as a percentage of your holiday price as stated in your invoice confirmation. Visas, airport taxes and insurance premiums are non-refundable.

More than 57 days before departure             –   deposit;
Between 57 and 42 days before departure    -   deposit plus 30% of remaining balance;
Between 41 and 28 days before departure    -   deposit plus 45% of remaining balance;
Between 27 and 14 days before departure    -   deposit plus 70% of remaining balance;
Less than 14 days before departure              -  deposit plus 100% of remaining balance

PRICE CHANGES


Very rarely, but in some circumstances price changes may be unavoidable. If you have made booking with us more than 8 weeks prior  to your date of departure and our costs should significantly change after having taken your holiday, we will do our best to notify you of any likely change in price no later than 8 weeks before you are due to travel. You are then free to cancel all or part of your holiday within 7 days of the notification. If you don’t cancel, then we will assume that you have accepted the price change. If you have made your booking within 8 weeks of your date of departure, then we will do our best to ensure that there are no price changes although this can not be guaranteed and we reserve the right to demand payment for any additional charges owing to the nature of late booking. BUT if you notify us of change in the number of people travelling in your group, then we reserve the right to change the price of  your ALLO Travel holiday at any time to reflect extra costs incurred in transfers, group booking costs, administration, etc.

FORCE MAJEURE


We regret we can not accept any liability or pay any compensation if we are forced to cancel, or any way change your holiday due to natural or nuclear disaster, fire, war, civil strife, industrial dispute, terrorist activity, adverse weather conditions, technical problems affecting transport, closure of airports or similar events beyond our control.

PASSPORTS AND VISAS


It is your responsibility to ensure that you and all members of your party are in possession of a passport valid for at least four months after the date of your return.
Visa and other immigration requirements are your responsibility and you should confirm these with the relevant Embassies. We will offer assistance and advice in obtaining visas but we can not be responsible if you or members of your party are refused entry into any country. We will not except any responsibility or refund any money in cases where you are unable to travel because of an invalid, mislaid passport or visa.

CLIENT BEHAVIOUR


ALLO Travel or any of its agents or suppliers reserve the right to exclude a client from the holiday if, at any point, in their opinion, the client’s behaviour is such that it has caused, is causing or is likely to cause damage, distress or inconvenience to other guests or property.

LIABILITY


Once we have confirmed your holiday details by means of a confirmation invoice, we are responsible for the provision of all the services described in the confirmation invoice. We accept the responsibility for ensuring that all the elements of your holiday are as described in your confirmation itinerary. This liability may be limited by air and sea travel where carriage is subject to the conditions to the carrier and to international conventions. We do not accept responsibility in respect to death, illness or bodily injury, coursed by negligence by you or by fellow participant or as a result of an activity that did not form part of their tour arrangement, organised for you by ALLO Travel. In this case you are entitled to advice and guidance only. We accept no responsibility for all day and all night time activities, sports and transportation as well as any illness, personal injury or death caused to you or a fellow participant. If you are late for transfers, then you will be liable to pay any additional costs that will occur as a result of your lateness. We are not responsible for you missing your plane as a result of your lateness.

DATA PROTECTION


In order to process your booking and to ensure that your travel arrangements run smoothly and meet your requirements we need to use the information you provide such as name address, any special needs/dietary requirements etc.
We take full responsibility for ensuring that proper security measures are in place to protect your information. We must pass the information on to the relevant suppliers of your travel arrangements such as airlines, tour operators, hotels, transport companies etc. The information may also be provided to security or credit checking companies, public authorities such as customs/immigration if required by them, or as required by law. We will not however, pass any information onto any person not responsible for part of your travel arrangements. But where your holiday is outside the European Economic area (EEA), controls on data protection in your destination may not be as strong as the legal requirements. The tour operator or other principle’s use of your information is subject to their policies, both in respect of your booking and any future marketing, and is their responsibility.

COMPLAINTS


Should you have problems with your holiday before your departure, please let us know immediately, so that we can do everything possible to put it right. Should a problem arise during your holiday, please call or fax straight away to make a report of the situation and to give us an opportunity to rectify the services in question straight away. If the matter cannot be resolved on the spot, you must write ALLO Travel within 28 days of your return. We undertake to acknowledge your letter within 14 days of receipt, and within 28 days of receipt to send you a full reply or a full explanation of the delay. In any event, the full reply will be sent within 56 days of receipt of your letter. For complaints regarding death, illness or injury as a result of negligence on behalf of ALLO Travel our liability will be limited in the manner provided by International Conventions and we will pay reasonable costs up to a maximum of £5000 per person.
